CodeChum generally offers two subscription plans:

1. Regular Plan:&#x20;
   * This plan provides access to essential features and resources, perfect for teachers to help students learn programming through activities and courses, and for students to enhance their coding skills.&#x20;
   * **Price:** P250.00/semester + 12% VAT
2. Special Plan:&#x20;
   * This plan includes all features of the Regular Plan, plus additional premium resources and personalized support to further boost the learning experience. &#x20;
   * **Price:** P350.00/semester + 12% VAT

<summary>We don't have a semestral calendar type, do you have other options?</summary>

Yes! CodeChum offers pricing plans based on both trimestral and school-year calendars.

* For schools following a trimestral calendar, the pricing is:
  1. Regular Plan: P200/trimester + 12% VAT
  2. Special Plan: P280/trimester + 12% VAT
* For schools following a school-year calendar, the pricing is:
  1. Special Plan: P435/school year

<summary>Are there any additional fees?</summary>

Yes, a <mark style="color:blue;">**12% VAT**</mark> will be applied on top of the subscription fee.&#x20;

This means the total cost will include the subscription price plus the VAT. For example, if you choose the Regular Plan (P250.00/semester), the total amount with VAT will be P280.00/semester.

Since 2023, the teacher account is now <mark style="color:blue;">**free for life!**</mark>

<summary>Our school has a No Collection Policy, can we still avail CodeChum?</summary>

Yes, absolutely!&#x20;

In fact, other schools with similar policies have found a solution by discussing the subscription with their students and holding a <mark style="color:blue;">**majority vote**</mark>. Once agreed upon, the students themselves can directly handle the payment for their subscriptions. This way, the school doesn’t need to collect any fees.

<summary>Will there be a free trial for students?</summary>

Yes! Students will receive a **15-day free trial** as soon as they enroll in a class.&#x20;

This allows them to explore CodeChum and experience its features at no cost. After the trial period expires, students will need to pay for a subscription to continue accessing all the platform's benefits.

<summary>How does the scoring in CodeChum work?</summary>

The perfect score of the item will be divided equally among the test cases. For example, if the problem is worth 10 points and there are 5 test cases, then each test case is worth 2 points.

<summary>Can the teacher override the score given by the system?</summary>

Yes. Although CodeChum automatically checks your students’ code, you as the teacher still have the ability to manually edit their scores at any time.
