1️⃣Sign up as Teacher

Introduction

CodeChum functions best in a classroom setting, and because of this, there are two types of users that mainly use the app: Teachers and Students.

Just like in a classroom, teachers in CodeChum make a class, invite its students to the class, create an activity for them to answer, and monitor how their students are doing in the activity. However, one good thing about CodeChum is that teachers don't have to check their students' codes one-by-one anymore -- CodeChum automatically checks it for them!

Steps

To create a Teacher account in CodeChum, you have to go through the following steps:

1. Go to https://app.codechum.com/ and click Sign Up.

   
2. Enter your working email address and a secure password. You can also opt to sign in using your Google or Facebook account.

   
3. Select Teacher as the user type, and enter your first name, last name and university name. Then, select an option as to where you've heard about CodeChum.

   
4. After clicking Sign up, you will be asked to enter and verify your phone number.

   

   
5. Once verified, you can now start exploring CodeChum.

   

   

And with that, your CodeChum Teacher account is now ready to use! Time to make your very first class.
