3️⃣Invite students to class
Introduction
Once you have a class ready to be used, you now have to invite your students to the class.
CodeChum's way of letting in your students to the class you've created for them is quite simple and secure. We do it through the use of class codes.
Steps
To let your students in your class in CodeChum, you have to do the following:
Copy the class code of your class by clicking the Copy icon beside the code. This is usually found on the upper left side of your class' Activities tab.
Send the class code to your students via your preferred means of communication.
Let your students create an account in CodeChum and let them join the class by inputting the class code you've given them.
Once your students attempt to join the class, go to your class' Class Record tab. This should show a dropdown labeled "Students waiting for acceptance" with a red label indicating the number of students awaiting for your confirmation to get in the class.
Tick the Check (✓) icon to accept the student, or the Cancel (✕) icon to deny their request.
And you now have your students in! Now, time to make an activity for your students to answer.
